I have been using it where I live, work and play for about a year now . . .


Just depends where you work and play I guess...  I'll be doing a road trip in the Deep South later this month, so it will be interesting to see how extensive the coverage is.

I have virtually continuous 3G coverage for all of SH1B, but that is with external carphone antenna.


So it appears that the Vodafone 900 MHz 3G network is becoming a reality!  I found 3G at Otorohonga a couple of weeks ago, which I assume would be 900 MHz.  It's great having 3G when on the road - it's been a long time coming though, especially when you consider that Telecom have installed a complete national 3G network in about 6 months!


GSM is seriously lacking down that road when handheld in a car - no worries on telecom cdma which mum had to use mine to call back on the way back from the tron and cambridge over the weekend.
