Wob: Where are you Aroona?

I'm in Whangaparaoa, Auckland.

we're running on 2100 here and its terrible, having the iPhone 3G was worse.
Since I got my Nokia E71 it hasn't been so bad with moving back to 2G, however, still not as good as i was wanting.

with the iphone i wasnt too worried to be quite honest, because the battery life sucked anyway, so it was better on 2G. but the Nokia annoys me now because i know the battery can handle it :(

Where are you?

I'm in the South Island, so don't know much about the V-Day upgrades up North.

I drove from Chch to Dunedin today & had 3G all the way - still the same dead spots as 2G, but I was receiving emails all the time.

Still getting used to my E71, the keyboard sucks (with my big fingers) but its a pretty cool phone.

yeah, took me a couple of days to get used to the keyboard, but im happy with it now.. its only a half way phone anyhow.. what i mean by that is, when the phone i want in released in a couple of weeks/months then i will move over to that.

I have been in some very remote areas of rural Waikato this week, haven't managed to find a spot with no 3G yet which is a little disappointing :-)

Come over the hill to Tauranga. You will find some here!

You have to be kidding me!!! I have a Motorola V6 MAXX (so extended 3G no good for me) and my house is in an area thats been basically cut out of the regular 3G coverage. Bugger.
