Yea, that's probably why I've had issues with some of these & VoIP - cause they have their own VoIP capable version :(
On the plus side, then seem to be a pretty OK ADSL router, just not the greatest interface etc.

Just my two cents. I have a WAG54GP2v2 which always suffers dropouts which is a constant pain. I also have an AG310 which runs great hoever there is a snag for some of us.

I have not tried it with the WAG54GP2v2, but the AG30 will send all SIP registration requests out only via the WAN or internet port of the modem. So, if you are using the modem as, well, a modem as well as for voice registrations will go out via the internet only. This is fine for most people who use vanilla VFX.

Where its a problem is when you use an Asterisk server on your local LAN. You can not setup the voice side to register on your local LAN unless you use a the modem in bridge mode. IN this case you need a seperate modem too so you might as well just use a PAP2t.

maverick, what devices you support are all in one solutions that also support local LAN Sip registration on the voice side so I can replace the WAG200 and the Pap2t on my local lan.
