he said that he had got a TEXT one/two days before the start of last weekend. something like - spring is here , and so we are giving you free weekends for whole of september. and as far as i remember he cant even give me "missed calls" as his balance is so low. its been like this for months... he would only call 0800 no.s ......

i just recharged a few days back for 20$... how come i dont get any free weekends?

Hmm, not sure. Maybe the same thing like a couple of years ago my sister got a free $20 credit for no apparent reason and I didn't. Not sure though. Try calling them and asking.

i wish i could. am on pre-pay and so fall into the category of ppl who have to pay to get decent basic customer service.

After having big issues with my iphone that the customer service staff at vodafone couldnt fix, i turned to john here.
In his own time he sorted this problem out for me, as i am sure he has for many others.

I dont think you should really be bringing any of the vodafone guys on here into your rant. What they do, they do out of friendship and in their own time.

If you want to have a go at vodafone then fair enough, just leave people who do help others well alone.

P.S-Lose the username. Only 'tards would try to align themselves with religious fanatics who committed mass murder supposedly in the name of Islam.

Maybe reading in a bit, does this mean that all prepiad voda customers WILL get it at SOME stage?

yeah thats fine then. so do you have like batches of free weekend giveaways ? i hope you accomodate ALL the prepay users to make it fair then?

Fair? who ever said life would be fair? why should it be? that's not a business model any carrier uses.

Makes perfect (business) sense to me.. he hasn't been using his mobile, so they're incentivising him to start again.

If you're unhappy with your provider or the way they run their promotions then change. Simple.

as i said, its better if we can put trivial stuff like some image aside and stick to the topic

Frankly I find this topic far more trivial.

If I ride my Motorbike through the new Northern Gateway I pay $0.00

All the people in cages pay $2.00 each way

this is not the first time my friend got free weekend, a couple of months before he got this for some one or two weeks. how come is that your selection of people is always same all the time?

you need not give it away for all on the same weekend but you can atleast try to give a different set of people the next time right? ~ eventually covering the whole lot .......

Also are you sure your friend is telling the full story sounds like to me they have free weekends Vodafone to Vodafone calls and they have spent $10 during the week

if you were reading from the very first msg, i mentioned there that he has been having hardly some 60~70 cents in his account and he cant even give me missed calls, leave alone calling anyone else for any no. of minutes......

i dont think this is equal comparison for this topic.

this one is more like

x drives thru the gateway fill his tank full and pays 2$

y who s on the brink of stopping any time with low or no fuel goes free...
