sleemanj: Assuming that the Belkin unit IS just an access point and doesn't have an ADSL or a WAN port, then...

Cable Model --> Existing Router --> Ethernet On Belkin

And the PC can stay connected to the existing router.



The problem is the PC isn't connected to an existing router. It's connected to the cable modem via USB. You can't use simultaneous USB and ethernet connections.

Hi All ,
         Thanks very much for your help I have got a network card for there PC so am installing this tomorrow for them then going to run through what Mauricio has suggested
