Well, ended up getting a contract, that we will now cancel to move to prepay. Would have been nicer (and cheaper) for us to be able to move straight to prepay, but, was not able to.

I'm confused you said it would have been cheaper to go straight to prepay and you also said it would have cost $900 in ETC's to go to prepay, has this cost you over $900 doing it this way?

What I mean was, it would have been cheaper if Vodafone could have transferred the number to a no term contract, then to prepay as a few of their stores said they could. No, we have not paid $900.
