I decided to check in the forums first so as not to log it as an ISP fault if the issue was at my end. But since it's affecting Telecom too, should I still log it since it's not a TCL issue?


It appears to be a bestbuy issue. They had a website update on the 18/12/2010 (which US timezone im not sure) and it appears to have blocked non US ip's since that time.

Access Denied, on Vodafone DSL...

Obviously not just a specific ISP in this case 




If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

Logging faults should be independent of others experiencing it. If a thousand people have a problem, and 1,000 report it, then more pressure on ISP.

And yes, report anyway. Each impacted person should report. It's on the volume that we will get there.

I've found the forum page now (http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/BestBuy-Com/ACCESS-DENIED/m-p/206772/highlight/true#M17523) and won't log it since it does indeed seem to be a Best Buy issue.

Edit: And Mauricio crept in while I was typing that :P

I just tested with a VM based in another country and it's not being blocked... So it doesn't seem to be a case of "outside US", but "NZ ISPs"... 

Please log it for Vodafone DSL as well, as explained above.
