RedJungle: Thanks Maverick, so helpful to have updates posted here (it was the first place I looked) :)

+1

However, I've just got home and either the problems haven't been fully resolved or something's reoccurring. Imap appears to be throwing a wobbly so I can only view/send emails vie your webmail portal.

Wait - scratch that... it's just come to life and my emails have arrived :-)

It seems Xnet email is totally dead now. According to their website, no problems, and there's no one on the help desk now. A bit frustrating!

Shouldn't be any issues that we are are aware of now, I was using email fine all through last night with no concerns , we also were not getting any compliants through the helpdesk after the service was restored so possibly something else going on as I would expect any major issues to affect all custys.

Can you confirm if your still having issues Dratsab ?

Yes I am a employee of WxC (My Profile) ... but I do have my own opinions as well Wink

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Okay a bit of a retraction here, there were some leftover issues for a few custys last night with email not a lot and it was fixed last night, the support staff did not update the network status unfortunately ..

Dratsab / AllanG can you confirm all is okay for you now ?

maverick:
bleetz: Those who use DVX are probably rather accustomed with the issues not being internal..... :)

Not funny or true so care to back that up or are you just trolling,  I would say you will generally see that the DVX / VFX services are the most reliable VoIP offerings in the market, in this case DNS was the cause of issue for users that are using pan.wxnz.net.

I'll second this, we rely on DVX for our business and I can't really say its missed a beat over the last 3+ years. We have had direct peering with WxC for much of that time which would have shown up any issues if there were.
