I got 2 RIM ones in the middle of the night last weekend, from then I have been sleeping with the phone on Silent. Got another one last night (about 130am), did not wake me.

I guess there is no way of stopping these?

If your on VF you can blacklist the numbers using the online 'my accounts' page.

Coincidence. Like RIM has any spare money to give away these days anyway...

Just got one in this household too - "BlackBerry UK" has apparently awarded us 1.7 million pounds.

Seems to be happening a lot, maybe Vodafone needs to look at disconnecting a link to a provider or two to prove a point? (Unless it's Vodafone UK, which would just be comical).

I have been signing the email address you contact up to various forms of sexual enhancement newsletters. Would be entertaining to say the least to see what their inbox looks like (providing it got through spam filters)

I got 750,000pound from Nokia UK promo!

But yeah.. at 12am local (0300nz) this was not cool. Quick google at the time showed it dating back some years, and NZ being the latest victim. Following morning JR had posted on vodafone forum which come up in google search also :)

Thank you John.

They were really quite annoying. Glad they have now stopped.
