TelstraClear: We’re also aware of this issue and investigating to determine where the cause lies.
tritex: I'm a Telstra Clear customer also. It has been ongoing since Isky first started.... FYI. I have never ever been able to actually watch anything properly due to it.
k14: I reckon it is because they have it in such high quality that you need a 20-30mbit link to be able to stream live.
k14: I have tried iSky on xnet, slingshot, vodafone and at work on a 10mbit cable link and on all connections it buffers every 10s to 2 mins. I reckon it is because they have it in such high quality that you need a 20-30mbit link to be able to stream live. Sky just needs to offer two qualities like tvnz ondemand and it will be fine. Happy for reduced quality if I can watch it uninterrupted!

Beccara:
20-30mbit? Where on earth did you get that from?

Thats 20sec's into the show, It burst 4.6mbit at the start and hasn't really gone above 2mbit while I've been watching. Hell even Netflix HD doesn't stream more than 10-15mbit
spacedog: It's definitely not a case of the quality being too high.
...
Also, the quality on iSky is actually pretty mediocre.
And yes....I still have the buffering issue with iSky on my TCL connection.
It is totally unwatchable. Can't believe this issue is still going on.
