Restarted Ultrahub. Issue Remains
I suppose if you're really desperate also reset the configuration of the Ultra Hub.
yitz: What if you disconnect the ASUS?
I've tried that. Issue remains
I've got a head ache ... going to bed
One last suggestion that I find works quite a lot .... wave some chicken entrails over the router, threaten it with a whipping, turn it off and go to bed ... restart it in the morning
given others dont have this issue and are on the same firmware as you im going to say its a network/setting issue at your end.
Starscream122: Definitely nothing at my end. I have a faulty ultrahub that’s all. Or bad firmware that a firmware upgrade didn’t fix.
Its not faulty. It is just a limitation in the router.
If the dhcp pool start IP is .2 it wont allow it (whether DHCP is on or off).
Just change the IP pool start IP to something else and you'll be able to use .2
I've seen other routers do the same
the question is though if dhcp is off on the device it shouldnt matter what IP address you give it.
but if you change the ultra hubs DHCP range to .3-xxx then turn dhcp off then put your IP address as .3 i would say it would work fine.

What I suggested trying in earlier Message, just in case the Ultra needs a default 'starting position' set.
Hey, mine wouldn't accept LAN IP changes until the unit upgraded to the 731 firmware.
I think it needs to be plugged straight into the modem overnight (s) for this to happen.
Change the 2 to a 5 save and then disable DHCP and try change IP address again?

worked for me - my dhcp is on though as I use it
Update:
I changed IP Pool Start Address to 192.168.1.5 and then I was able to change the IP address to 192.168.1.2 and then turn DHCP off again.
So the issue was the start pool address conflicting with the modems IP address.. However with DHCP disabled it should not have done that.
Is there a sequence I should be using for the DHCP start Pool even though I am not using DHCP or is 192.168.1.5 fine?
