All plan information will be coming tomorrow. There's no confirmation of a prepaid option at this point.

Why do people ask questions on here that obviously no one knows the answer to? Wait until tomorrow!

James Bond: When they say limited stock, are they talking about at launch? or limited stock for New Zealand period?

Launch.

Latest estimates put the sales for 12 months at 16-22 million units.  There's expected to be a wee bit of pent up demand first off.

Remember, it's an iphone, I want 3g data... What's the chance of getting 3g for $40?

And I go through $30 of prepay a month. I am really hoping for something in the $60 - $70 that gives 2GB Data, 500+ texts and a decent amount of minutes.

I don't use minutes and i'd be happy with 100mb of data.

I plan on some YouTubing, and an hour of web-browsing every day...

I use a vodem as my only internet source, so know pretty much what I'm going to use.

After all what better to do during those 50 minute long English lessons, now that I have my 12 Uni credits (Don't you love NCEA!)

EDIT:-  What about itunes TV programmes?

And as you can see we run into the problem of one plan does not fit all!

Wonder if the plans will be similar to You Choose evolution plans (Talker/Txter/Mega).. will be interesting to see if they choose a new structure or old structure of plans

Surely there will be a way to hack the phone in a few weeks? Then you could get the phone on a plan, cancle the plan, hack the phone and use it on Prepay?

Thoughts?

That's what I was thinking. How about just adding a You Choose data add-on?

I'd be happy with $10 a GB.
