NZGamingIcon: A case of too little too late, I would be actually surprised if anyone is actually still with Vodafone when they have been out of the competition for over 6 months now. If you are still with Vodafone you are either stuck in a contract or a very loyal customer. Other ISP's have been offering twice the data or more for the same or less cost.

Anyways last time Vodafone announced their so called "major" plans, they increased the data limits by only 20gigs while other ISP's were increasing by huge margins.

I'm still with Vodafone. :) Telecom can't match Vodafone. All Vodafone Call Centres are in New Zealand so you don't have fobs on the other line.

For $85 a month I get 160GB, Free MySKY, Unlimited iSKY, Free Calling to a Mobile, Homeline and SKY all in one bill. No ISP matches what I get from Vodafone at the moment..

$85 dollars for all that ??

I would love that deal, considering SKY basic package costs around $55 itself.

Can anyone clarify this deal ? /sigh

Yes this deal is given to ONLY current Vodafone Customers. So if you're a loyal customer and have been with Vodafone for at least 2 years you can register for this. By the way my plan is just the standard, some people have been getting better stuff, such as the 5 free best mates, 2 Months Free and Free National calling but nonetheless I still have an awesome plan.

Loyalty pays.

Just to clarify, you still have to pay for the Sky Basic/Movies/Sports etc on top of the $85? Free MySky and iSky though

LOL! Of course you still have to pay for those packages! :P I think you might have been confused with my "SKY all in one bill". What I meant by this is that your Home Broadband Package is paired with your SKY Package all into one bill so you just pay for one instead of 2 separate bills. You get the Free MYSKY and iSky however. But noway would I receive Free SKY.

My Vodafone Package is $85 (With 10$ for Caller ID e.t.c.) a month and SKY is $120ish a month.

Yeah that's what I understood but it was a bit vague. Cheers.

dan: Next week will be out of contract, will be changing from VF Ultimate w/ 160GB to Telecom 500GB for less money.

Too little to late Vodafone, you should have done better than only increasing ultimate by 40GB you might have kept my business

You should maybe read the previous posts, if you're out of contract you can call Vodafone to offer you a better deal. You can get the Double Data, Free National Calling and 5 Free Best Mates for much cheaper than the Telecom Plan for $85 a month.

I guess if you stay loyal you'll get the benefits. Unless you want to pay $34 extra to get the 500GB at Telecom with no National Calling or 5 Best Mates, iSky Un-metered or MySky discount.

I shouldnt have to call up Vodafone and try and convince them to give me a discount, also, wouldnt make any difference as their max plan is 160GB, which is not enough.

I dont know where you pulled the 34$ out of, however for slightly less money on Telecom i can get the same features i use on vodafone, a free static ip and 340GB more data than on my ultimate plan with double data.

Note: i dont care about Sky/National calling/Best mates. I want better data caps.

Vodafone seem either too busy with the Tesltra acquisition or are just sitting on their hands while most other ISPs are actually adding value to their services.

1TB without any traffic shaping whatsoever?

Not everyone is after 1TB of data, but when you consider you can add a data pack for $15 to ANY of their plans and receive another 100gb plus un-metered downloading between 1am-7am its very good value

Naked data as an example

ADSL2+ 50gb base data $70 + $15 for 100gb data pack = 150gb data plus un-metered downloading between 1am-7am.

UFB 50gb base data $75 + $15 for 100gb data pack = 150gb data plus un-metered downloading between 1am-7am. And that's Fibre. Vodafone don't even offer fibre.

Different people value different things, I guess. *shrug*
