langers1972: So which one are you talking about? Please tell me it's not the bug riddled 4.3 on the S3, it's terrible. Seems ironic that after all the waiting I now DON'T want the update as it stands ;o)

I am speaking of the Samsung S4 so just ignore me please

You better hope Intergerisnumber is still on his medication :)

Well, I am still on my medication and I have been taking it today. *Stupid Hay-fever*.

So what about you? Still on your medication? lol

johnr: IntegerIsNumber we should see the update any day now

John

Have you heard about the update being pulled in the UK and if that will have any impact on the update for us?

Yes I have heard about this news. But JohnR said that it has been tested and approved. So I'm guessing Vodafone has an updated version?

I am currently running 4.4 KitKat launcher + Voice commands on stock 4.1.2 and it has been behaving quite nicely. Does not drained as much RAM as TouchWiz launcher and overall I like it. :)

I dont think you understand, JohnR was confusing this thread with the S4 thread. Vodafone do not have 4.3 for the S3 yet.

Interesting that other carriers have not only got it, but tested it, approved it and Samsung have released it. In fact a Vodafone carrier overseas (Ireland I think) was the first update released.

Doesn't say much about Samsung's processes when they can be rolling it out for some networks, but haven't even passed it along to others to even start the process.

And the 'Irish' version was in fact from Germany, there has been an awful lot of misinformation from the interweb mainly due to the inordinate amount of time it's taken. Was surprised that Sammobile got it so wrong as they are usually extremely reliable.

I put the unbranded UK image on my phone when it came out what I have to say was a big mistake, I have all the problems that people are having, I have to say this is a first for me having a legit ROM do this.

Someone did not do their testing.

An update will probably arrive in around 3 weeks when my 32gb nexus 5 arrives.

Hi Johnr, so have you been talking about the S4 this whole time?

i.e. you have NOT seen the S3 4.3 release through Vodafone NZ yet?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I know, but I was real hoping..

a) he was just meaning his statement:
"Vodafone NZ sold Samsung S4 is on 4.2.2 not 4.1.2"

and.. b) he was going to correct himself and update us as to whether the Vodafone S3 i9300xxemc2 has seen 4.3 or not.

John, are you able to share the build number that's coming or isn't that available until you get it?
