Correct I would of updated this thread advising if site was unlocked

So I know you have limits on what you can say, but would it be a reasonable bet to assume that turning on 4G will be the faster data etc referred to in the text from VF? You may not be able to answer that, of course..

Had 4G again yesterday morning at home for about half an hour - then several hours of "No Service" before 3G reappeared!

As I posted earlier - I am lucky if I see 4G at all in the centre of Christchurch.   Sometimes one might see it very early in the morning or briefly mid-morning (for about 5 minutes), but most of the time its 3G. I took another look at it a week ago to see if the situation had improved since my last post, but phone showed 3G pretty much all day.

Well then something is not right as I have used 4G in Chch a few times and no issues 4G is even live now in Hamner Springs on 700Mhz band 28

I'll check it out next time I am there as I am not too far away from Hamner.   I use an iPhone 5s with a standard setup.

And the iPhone 5s does not support band 28 700Mhz 4G / LTE the iPhone 6 and 6 plus does and this is why you are not getting full advantage of the 4G network

I'm as much mystified by several hours of 'No Service' as I am by the 4G to be honest!
