quickymart: What's the timeframe for the "planned" coverage on that map? Days? Weeks? Months? Years? It used to say "coverage expected within 12 months" (or something) but that info seems to have been removed.

Depends on the site of course, RBI sites are very complicated. I think we're now in the last two years of the RBI programme, so lots of the upcoming coverage will be in the 12 months and rest planned for 24 months, but subject to change.

Not sure if you can answer this, but the cellsite I'm looking at is Mt Sewell.

I'm very certain I've found the right site in the list, but there's no date set against it for RBI upgrade at this stage. We might have more information after March next year.

:( the one I'm thinking of services the Grey Valley of the West Coast.
While I think of it - any plans to improve coverage in Runanga?

The RBI coverage map indicates there are planned upgrades that will cover most of Runanga. I'm not sure exactly what it will be or timeframes.

Is that on the RBI coverage maps? If not it's unlikely to get the RBI service, in which case the MBIE and Commerce Commission are the people to contact to suggest this.

They can get VDSL there, but Vodafone coverage is poor...hence why I ask :)
