So nobody has answered my question:
> Is this an issue that is still being worked on?

This is still an issue that is affecting numerous customers right?
Would anyone from Xnet like to comment or give us an update?

Cheers,
Nigel

yes it is still an issue, we believe we are very close to a final resolution now but we have thought this before, so untill we are 100% convinced we have not wanted to make any comments.

Would be interested in seeing if anyone has had the upstream issue since Monday,

We have had a "fix" applied for a week or 2 in testing on a few accounts and all looked good, this was applied as a rollout to all users on Monday and we have not seen any reported issues to date, so at this point we think that this fix has fully fixed the problem.

The reason we havn't been current as we did not want to proclaim a fix only to find it was broken (like last time) so a lot more testing was done with the equipment providers, but now we believe it is resolved.

Oh whoopsTongue out Sorry about that...I guess you didn't really need an extra wake-up call?

I don't actually know what an acceptable/decent upload speeds are but, I gather from your reply, that speed is acceptable?

I have not had the problem of getting slower and slower until being restored by a re-boot for sometime but my upload is throttled to 400 to 450k  instead of the 750k shown on the xnet  site speedtest. cheers George

George,

Could you please PM me your username and I will have a look.

Also, have you checked your physical DSL connect rates?

Cheers George.

Looks like your connection is not affected by the issue we were experiencing - I suggest checking your physical connection stats.

Callum

Thanks Fraser, we were pretty sure the last fix addressed the issue.
