From memory there was a plan limit of 100Mbps when using VF TV over fibre...

If you select 200Mbps you cant get VF TV over fibre. Happy to be proven wrong..

I'm not sure if that's still the case or not but there was mention on here of it being a limitation of combining multicast and that profile.

Earlier posts on here by Mike Hayles suggest that VF TV is only currently being offered on Cable UFB.  Not to be confused with Fibre UFB ;-)

I know that VF started offering TV over fibre, but I don't think they currently are.

Does any one know if this is being deprecated? Haven't heard anything but had my UFB provision done by Chorus yesterday - with a Vodafone TV box.

http://www.vodafone.co.nz/tv/ quotes "Only works with Cable" in the Vodafone TV section on the right.

Word on the street is new installs of Vodafone TV over UFB have been temporarily suspended.

We re-connected Vodafone TV (Cable) last week after a year on Sky and initially the guy said they no longer offer Vodafone TV at all and I would have to get Sky. He spoke with his supervisor and seeing as I never actually quit the service (just unplugged the STB and put it in the wardrobe) they were happy to send out a tech and re-install (they Sky installer had cut the VF cable, so I couldn't do it myself).

I asked if it was to do with the merger and he said "yeah, the merger".
