Just a quick question for those who have gotten the free Neon deal. How long has it taken for the Neon promo activation code to come through?

Just renewed my 12m account, spoke to remittance.

Currently on Unlimited Fibre, 100/20(free 12month upgrade normally $10), 5 Best Mates for $100.99. Renewed account is the same with $300 credit.

Two bits of info I got was 1)$20pm was the max discount she was authorised to give and 2)Neon sub could be cashed in for $10pm credit.

Wow, that is more fab. Wasn't willing to go 24m myself. 12 is more than enough for me, I did ask about a boost to 200 speed but Vodafone wouldn't bite. Do you think the 24m aspect was the advantage?.

Ok, fibre x is a wee bit different and has great deals. Pitty the rest of nz can't enjoy.

Given the problems with cable, I'm kinda glad I can't get it (although it didn't always used to be that way).

That's good for you, but there are still people having problems with their connection.

ludez: How could you get all that for $70? I pay $90 just for unlimited vdsl

Ring vfone see what they can do for you. Remember the HFC network is owned by vfone and they make a bigger mark up margin.

i notice that too

rang VF and was told they give more discounts for cable than adsl because they have to pay chorus a set price for adsl

i only got neon and a $20 discount for naked unlimited adsl

Got an email inviting us to re-sign for 12 months, so we did.  Ended up $10 cheaper and with the $300 credit was a no-brainer.  I am pleased Neon was free, even then I think it may be overpriced.  Who on earth would pay $20 a month for that?!

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
