They have offered to drop my 2 tear contract without penalty....so looking around now.

Good to hear. But not really good news because its sorta like them admitting a failure that they cant fix. This makes me think that its very unlikely things will be fixed soon.

I will wait for after the easter weekend to see if I am going to pursue anything.

Another response after reporting my last 2 major dropouts:

I’m sorry to hear  the trouble you have with your Broadband service. We are doing our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. As you are probably aware – the FibreX network is brand new technology based on new DOCSIS 3.1 architecture. As is often the case with new technology – there can often be a few “teething issues” mixed in with all the benefits.  We know this is inconvenient for you but the good news is our technicians are aware of the issue and are working on a permanent solution. I can assure you the problem affecting your connection is not network wide,  It is only affecting a small number of new FibreX customers. Will contact you once I get further updates from our network team. I’m sorry I can’t give you a fixed timeframe at this stage. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Don't want to talk too soon but I have not had a single dropout since that massive dropout last Thursday morning (12:45am to 4:15am Thursday the 13th April).

Hopefully problem is fixed. Otherwise it could just be that there is not much congestion due to everyone being away over Easter weekend. Also noticed that latency seems to have improved quiet a bit since Saturday morning.

How has it been for everyone else?

Well this is really good news and it sounds positive.

If Vodafone can keep this up I may just keep my fibrex connection after all.
