I think you wanted to ask this in the Vodafone iPhone thread - not here...

ok there is a message advising vodafone email is offline right now in vodafone live so other users will not be able to access it. Its coming up with a outage message.

20 MB? For Direct Push? You should have asked for 100 MB. I have Direct Push enabled  on my Windows Mobile device, and I use about 90 MB a month with this plus light browsing on the device.

20 MB... Hmmmp. This is a drop in the bucket.

Mobile operators are dumb.

Back on topic - it looks ugly. Sorry, but it does.

Manual Sync Only, dude.  It is fine for our DPs / Managers when they're offsite or away from their office.
Our low decile, state school can't afford nine smartphones on 100MB data plans.  Maybe, after our school is named Telecom Mobile Colenso College?

That was the analogy I was looking for!!!

I think you will find, if you have signed up for what I think you have (Okta Agent free email for one year) only a fair use policy applies, so there isn't a 20MB cap. As long as you don't use your mobile as a mobile modem, then you should be fine.

Oh, LEC... This discussion is about Vodafone, on a Vodafone forum, so I didn't click. Yes, Telecom is doing a great offer for free e-mail data. It's not 20 MB at all.

Ahhhh... that makes sense.  The guy should've explained that really.  Thanks.

I showed the new setup to my 14 year old neice and she thought it looked great. Well she said it was "mint" which I assume means it was great. Perhaps they are the target market as she downloads songs, ringtones and all the other stuff that young teens do on Vlive that those of us with desktops/laptops/ipods don't do.

Granted, I feel sorry for my brother who pays for it but thats off topic ...
