Just looks a bit odd and messy
under
Mobile stream - home network
RT is listed
But isn't available under
Mobile stream - away from home
and yet the channel itself is freely available with a live stream on their website without restrictions?
and Parliament tv also has a large amount of restrictions on it?
For the away from home stream option is it soley down to the seperate system at Sky's end ? with just the 22 channels listed?
You can't record the main channels? What's the point?

The continuing issues with my Vodafone TV.
The fact that I cant record the main channels still bugs me, but I though that last night I'd use the play from start function as I'd missed the start of a program, but it rolls back to past the start but I thought that's not a problem I can quickly fast forward to the start. But it's not that easy as it doesn't have a preview while fast forwarding or rewinding. So after trying to guess the start point by just using the timer counting I gave up and just waited for the program to start. All was going well until I am not sure how many minutes before the end of the program it stopped. I thought I'd never find out the outcome of the trial or who won the competition. I went to the play from start of the program I was now watching and it went back to the end of the previous program or at least i think it did, so I could watch some of the end of the previous program.
I though not all was lost as I could watch it on on demand but bugger me it was Channel one and its not available yet, so I thought I d watch some thing on TV3's onedemand equivalent. The idea was good until five minutes into the program it froze for maybe 20-30 seconds and then froze again after 30-40 seconds for 60 seconds and then froze for 2 minutes after 10 seconds and then froze completely, the program and the unit. The only way I could recover the unit was to unplug it from the power supply and start again. I think I spent maybe 2 hours mucking around for possible 25 minutes of uninterrupted TV time.
Another thing I thought that was weird was that I received 12 months of Neon for free only to find out I can't watch Neon on the new Vodafone TV box?
Come on Vodafone whats going on, is this the T-box implementation again?
Oops i forgot that I received a call from Vodafone yesterday.
As I had expressed a interest in getting Vodafone TV when they first announced it, they were ring to see if I wanted to get the new Vodafone TV box and they were surprised that I already had one.
VFTV Project Meeting minutes 31/10/2017![]()
Designers, engineers, developers: “We’re tracking nicely, some features still to be developed and some bugs to iron out. Not quite ready for launch yet, should be good to go about February”
Senior management, marketing, beancounters: “***k it….good enough… launch it and sell it, we need the revenue”
Product manager – sobbing quietly in the corner - mutters: “please, not again”
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

I find it amusing to think the product manager was even in the meeting when the decision was made. They just have to clean up after the leadership.

Can anyone confirm if the sky sports pop up channels work on Vodafone TV?
Apsattv:
I don't think they would limit it like that? anyway why would you record the news, when you will be able to go straight into on demand and view it from there.
You can't go to on demand to watch TV1 news as the TV1 on demand isn't available, but coming soon apparently.

I will when I get home tonight, Don't keep me in suspense is it working now?
A bit disapointing the VF TV device would probably of sold like hotcakes as a $99 buy it and own it device.
It could have been marketed that any current vodafone fibre user could buy it or several, plug it in have all the Freeview channels open at no cost without fee's. Then allow channel recording to be at the users option, either via their own usb hd or an optional $5 a month "cloud record" fee.
The addition of a "sky pack" addon such as all the sports channels for $39.95 a month would of been the Killer deal. That's all most people want from Sky. Getting away from the must have basic channel pack deal with 50 channels people dont care about.

We are working on bringing recording to all channels. We hope to have good news soon.
