However I assume this won't resolve a problem I have (with my daughter's pre-pay account) auto-topup. I've told it to top up with $20 when the balance falls below $5. It has never worked. When she reminds me it is out of credit I sign into the app and manually top it up fine (using the same card).

Does nobody else have this issue?

I have this for both of my kids and they never top up automatically.

Its funny came back to vodafone just for one of my numbers and I thought would put it on account (for $5 a day roaming)... will admit starting to regret this.

New app was great, but now seems to have lost all info and having to re-include this, its showing me no accounts at all, even via the web site.also looks to have no way of limiting charges (ie stopping data/call use if go over what is included in plan)

Glad ive only come back on an open term plan, will give it till the end of the month and may look at just closing the number, going back to pre-paid or moving this number over to one of the other networks also. :(

I am planning to move away from them in the coming months when I expect to have a viable alternative for my home broadband.

The fiasco with this app in itself isn't a big deal, but it is symptomatic of the wider culture within Vodafone whereby they deliver everything on a best effort basis and don't seem interested in customer outcomes. Frankly I am terrified of what sort of customer support experience I am going to have to endure if I ever experience a significant service fault or billing error, so I want to move to a lower risk provider.

It is a major pain that I cannot see at a glance any more than one number/account. At any time I manage a minimum of two numbers/accounts and I can no longer see what is the status of each with multiple actions.

This issue is bad enough that I will be looking elsewhere. Maybe there is no better option among the competition but I doubt it.

How helpful. Vodafone have decided to help me to exit more quickly by consuming my current balance at a faster rate:

a $2 price increase on my plan

Fantastic Friday deals with prices that don't deserve the term "fantastic"

From my experience, the app seems all show and no go. Looks very flash, but usability is gone, difficult to differentiate between carryover and current balances for prepay, and keeps logging out. Overall, a pretty negative experience unfortunately.

EDIT: and right on cue, get signed out again.

Mine seems okay now, I guess for me it works as I only really check basic information (how much data etc I have left). I can see how it might be problematic for more than one number though.

By text/SMS from Vodafone for a prepaid Flex plan. The same way I get reminders and top-up confirmations.

Just a heads up that some of our My Flex plans are changing. When your plan renews in August, it'll go up by $2. Want to get more of what you need and less of what you don't? Jump into My Vodafone at vodafone.co.nz/app and flex your plan to suit you.

Aside: I installed Google Messages a week ago and apart from being able to send texts from my Windows PC I'm also able to easily copy the text contents into Geekzone.

As posted previously, it would be nice to manage all accounts in one window (as we could previously)
However, its also nice to be able to manage each account. Can someone tell me how I work out if this one is due to expire?

(Hint - it does not show expiry if less than 1 day)
I have looked everywhere and this information doesnt appear to exist in this instance.
It should be flagged quite clearly as being due to expire. As its an account that I manage, there are no other notifications to my primary phone.

And yet again, my data remaining amount just disappears. Uninstalling/reinstalling the app does nothing. Unbelievable.

Has your data figure been appearing and disappearing intermittently? My home connection has consistently showed data remaining since I installed the app, however the data remaining for my mobile connection has always been blank.

Yes, it appears and reappears without me doing anything. I could view my data usage on Saturday, last night it was gone (just blank instead of a number). Really hope I don't get charged if I go over my usage - not my fault their crappy app isn't ready for use yet.
