Hi, I think that comment only refers to the highest res the box can do, as for channels that are transmitted by Sky at lower resolutions, that is fixed by Sky not Voda the box is going to upscale them to whatever res that you have the box set to output, this is no different to a Sky box, albeit a Sky box only does 50i max. Again regardless any modern digital (LCD,OLED,Plasma) is going to have to deinterlace any 50i material to 50p as they simply are not able to natively deal with interlace, if the box does this task first then the TV does not have to.
End result is in reality this box will behave just as a sky box does in respect to frame res.

The sources are delivered to VF in Mezz format from Sky. The output delivered to the VFTV STB for HD is 1920x1080p. SD content is delivered to the VFTV STB at 720x576p

Hi, so your playout does the up conversion as opposed to the box or TV, but the orginal in was still some old time low res whatever, right :)
