These devices can just as easily make more money for Vodafone:

- someone calls my landline, I'm not home, they leave a message, THE END.

But...

- I buy a GSM gateway, I pay Vodafone $6 more than what I was before, now I can have my incoming calls transfer to my mobile.

But wait there's more...

- I pay another $6 (now $12 more each month), now I can call all my local mate's when I'm out & about.

But wait there's even more (more money that is)...

- I want to expand the system a little, so now Vodafone is getting an extra $20 of my money than before.

How's that for an increase in your ARPU?
