Appears to be rebranding as “one” (not sure of stylising) tomorrow. Which makes sense… they just drop the “f” from “fone” to make it “one”.

How will this work for the Warriors, given they just re-signed? One Warriors?

Peppery:

The name "ONE NZ GROUP LIMITED" was reserved at the Companies Office last month 🤔

Was just going to post that I think the name will be One… the name being shortened progressively and then connecting some more dots, one.co.nz is registered to someone with the same name as an ex-Vodafone staffer, who now works in a management consulting business. All speculation though.

They will drop letters until they are "one".

Also, a visit from an European executive for a certain tech company this week may not be a coincidence.

Good catch. Both domains modified within the last few days too.

Might be one reason the TV box service had to go...

On a serious note… I wonder if they will provide grief counselling for the long term Vodafone re!. It’s a big deal living and breathing and then ditching a multinational.

tardtasticx: Mine is now “afone” - not many more letters to go!

- last week it was Voda NZ
- then became vodafone
- over the weekend I got odafone
- dafone
- afone

I predict the two lead 6pm news items tomorrow…

1, Costco grand opening
2, Vodafone NZ rebrand.

Wonder which way around they will go on the night.
