No improvements for me yesterday. Had to hotspot (on One NZ) to install a new Android app from the store.

I may have to enable the IPv6 stack, which I am a bit reluctant to do given the recent https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2024-38063.

Edited to include the hyperlink.

I actually did see an improvement this morning. Instagram loading properly.

Will wait to see if it remains stable.

Came right last night, all facebook and messenger images/video loading, no delays on youtube. Now it is back to not loading. Surely an organisation like One/Vodafone should be able to know the problem and fix it by now…

We restarted a problematic node overnight but noticed recurrence of the issue so have disabled a link to that node (10 mins ago). Would you please check again?

OneNZ have advised me this afternoon that the issue should be resolved. Testing at 1513 for Anroid app updates crashed and burned but an hour later, all 15 apps updated without issue and my son reports his Insta is loading images properly now.

Anyone else seeing this fixed?

Yes this seems to be back to normal now.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Sadly, the problem has returned this evening starting around 1700 & mainly affecting YouTube. Buffering on YT is very bad but again, using a Sydney VPN resolves the issues. Whose in charge at OneNZ? 🤦

Hi all,

After restarting everything in the house twice while my partner complained, I've been told it's a routing issue starting ~6:00pm.

If a ticket isn't raised or the issue isn't resolved by the time I start tomorrow morning I'll start hitting up some people.

FWIW, no problems here (HFC in Thorndon, Wellington).

12 Phone Apps updated last night (8pm) over mobile data (no wifi needed), and watched YT on tablet via wifi no problems after 10pm.
