I have internet but Google is also down for me. Used DuckDuckGo but still can’t get into One NZ so suspect website overload.
I can get into One NZ ok. Normal load speed for me.
Hataitai working now.
seems to be ok for us in Porirua
Oops, sorry - I thought the Jira ticket said 4G shutdown (not 3G shutdown). I've switched it back on again now.
Its bizzarre. At one site my Screenconnect server (self hosted on my home connection) can access servers at sites that are patchy. I can login remotely and access them at acceptible speed but can't browse out from them.
One site with two OneNZ fibre (One interbranch VPN, one all else) and the interbranch doesn't work at all - The other works but is VERY hit and miss accessing web sites.
At my office where we have a shared ONE NZ fibre I can access geekzone like normal and can run a speedtest.net test and get normal speeds up and down but can't access my Screen connect server at home at ALL
Herald loads reasonably well but can't get to stuff at all.
I can make an SSTP vpn from my office One NZ to a clients One NZ and speed is really good but neither of us can go to many other sites.
Its something to do with interconnects but who knows.

Status page has same 'message' repeated for literally all the country!!
There is something really odd going on in their network.
I have 3 sites all with One NZ and normally interconnected on VPN
Site B has suddenly connected to Site A with the router to router VPN and speed is as good as ever.
Site C won't connect to A or B at all and can't ping B's IP even though it reponds to pings
Site A and B can connect to my web server on another provider but C can't
Site A and B can visit Herald pretty well but not stuff, Site C can visit Stuff but not Herald.
This is not a normal interconnect outage - Sounds like there is a central switch somewhere that the cleaners plugged a loose cable into which now has both ends in the same switch bringing the network to its knees 🤣

Does Google have any connection with this outage?
Google is now working in the Safari browser, but my Google nest hub tells me it’s offline and to check internet. To check - I ask it to set timer, it does. I ask it the weather, it tells me, but then if I ask it to stream music, it says offline check internet, same if I ask it to play Spotify.
Have checked the Deco app which shows the nest has internet and the Google Home app also shows it as connected. I don’t get it.
Variably hosed here on HFC in chch, mostly international problems.
My ec2 and lightsail instances can't be reached, the geekzone anti-bot doesn't work, reddit patchy, various lookup and timeout fails.
Resorting to skinny data binge on tablet as the backup.
Edit: actually, one of my ec2 can be reached, others not. Must be some sort of routung screw up in one.nz.

DjShadow:
Seems to be a partial outage, I'm on One NZ Fibre in Lower Hutt and a few sites like geekzone are working (barely)
Yes, partial outage is the case. I am from Christchurch. Since this morning github, google, 1.1.1.1, 8.8.4.4, `one.nz` all fails using direct connection. While 8.8.8.8, chatgpt, `ipv4.google.com` works.
I am currently using v2rayn tunnel as a workaround for now. If you have a working VPN of any kind, you could try as well.
I feel it’s now time to blame AI. Bound to be involved in the cluster somewhere 😁
Queenstown offline since this morning. No sign of a resolution or ETA which is disappointing.
Shame they had to sell the red helicopter when they rebranded. JohnR would’ve been right onto it.
One unreachable, and one reachable ec2, both in us-west-1
