Well, I will probably need the NZ firmware I would think as my z800i doesn't have the vodafone live settings etc unlike the v800 (hence vodafone800). As far as I know I can only make the video calls with no problem. But then it is not a great big life-ending loss, I just wanted to see what 3G streaming etc is like while it is free, before I have to pay.
I'm going to get the Siemens SXG75. It's about the same price as the phones vodafone's offering here but seems much better. It has real GPS, the first 3g phone to offer this, and a-gps, memory card, Word, Excel and PDF viewer, push to talk, radio, mp3 player, 2 mega pixel camera it just seems so much better than what vodafone is offering in NZ.
