johnr: I have posted a update on the Vodafone NZ community as well

" Samsung has confirmed 4.3 for the Samsung S3 i9300 and i9305 should be with us in the next 2 weeks for carrier testing " The update will also enable HD voice

John

Nice, I will then be able to hear JohnR's acronyms with much greater clarity:)

I heard from a friend that his Note2 received 4.3 update yesterday. So I'm guessing your is Vodafone version right?

I'm waiting for 4.3 on my S3 and hope that it will be pushing out before Xmas by Vodafone&Samsung. It has been a year since 4.1.2 was released. Even LG and HTC has already got 4.3 and 4.4 updates rolling out. Samsung spammed to many devices in a year and it causes slow update and even abandonment some devices from future updates as well. Finger cross for our 4.3 update to be stable and no bugs.

Cruel guys, considering this is the S3 4.3 thread :)

I am still running 4.3 on my S3 but its as buggy as hell.

I found 4.3 a bit buggy. I have swapped to CM11 and it is running really well. This is 4.4 BTW. The only issue I have found is incorrect aspect ratio on the screen when videoing or taking photos. The actual videos and photos are recorded fine however.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

JohnR - We don't really need to know about the Galaxy S4 updates.

Do you have any information regarding the S3 updates to post and let us know?
