There are no new plans yet.

They are rumoured to be available this month sometime.

Wonder if this from the NBR article a few pages back is truthful

Vodafone NZ external relations manager Paul Brislen says that new plans for Apple iPhones will be announced in the next few days.

That was 4th August.. couple of days = 7? :P

Obviously a few days in Vodafone terms = a few weeks for the rest of us...................

Few days could means 10 working days = 2 weeks :) or it's just a translate from "near future" which could take up to months :D

Also, first, this thing based on rumors, then been confirmed by VF Rep to the news agent with vague words "few days". This's a good teasing, hype building-up strategy from VF :D. Thus, once again, there is a huge change for us to burst our hope with a tough plan.

I seem to recall saying to the report "watch this space" rather than giving him a fixed time frame. Not quite the same thing.

Hi Paul. Do you happen to have any words of wisdom for those who are intending to purchase an iPhone but are unsure of how any plan changes might affect them?

Yes, buy an 8GB model. They're, erm, exclusive...

ahem.

This is obviously a "lost-in-translation" between marketing words to news reporter words :D. Classic anyway!

Is this mean VF is going to do something with 16GB (the most popular version) ? I thinking of getting an another 16GB. Sounds like I need to wait for a while :D

We sell far more 16GB than 8GB so there's erm... scarcity value? Would you believe Only The Cool Kids Have Them?

I wouldn't believe that, no...!

I will guess and say that 8Gb versions might vanish completely soon and a 32 Gb might appear!
