Is there a fix for this yet as I still get the annoying "you haven't texted us in XX days. your facebook updates have been turned off. to turn back on, reply 'on'" I reply on but it still keeps doing the same thing every time i receive text from FB.

Still broken? I'd have guessed a large telco would have its own point of contact within another large organisation.

Hard to decide which side is being dysfunctional here (although I'd put my bets on Facebook this time)...

I thought i was the only one with this problem! Argh. I'll be watching this thread; it seems more informative than Facebook and Vodafone's support on the issue combined.

I sent an email to Vodafone yesterday regarding this issue.. here's their reply.

Dear Adam

Thank you for your website enquiry.

I can confirm that we currently have an issue with Facebook and customers not being able to subscribe using the text service. Our technicians are aware of this issue and are working on getting this resolved however we currently do not have a time frame as to when this issue will be resolved.

In the meantime you can access Facebook on your mobile. To do this you simply freeTXT 'FACEBOOK' to 5483 (on their Vodafone live! capable mobile, access it through Vlive! or go to http://m.facebook.com on your mobile web browser. Please note standard data rates apply to use internet on your mobile.

Kind regards

Enrico
