Scotty1986 my experience has been very similar to yours, good speeds but very poor performance. I get far better performance by using a VPN.

My connection is also worthless again tonight. It seems to be two steps forward, three steps back.

Island Bay  8:30pm

Never worse. frown

Increased ping, falling average speeds, deeper evening dip.

Currently 5/10Mbps to Wellington Spark server - the VF server is down.

I'm getting similar speeds to you. YouTube buffering on 720p.

Island Bay. Things are bad. But somehow sites are loading okay, and even YouTube is a bit more usable than most nights. Weird, but I'm not going to look a (temporary) gift horse in the face.

Ive just tried to download media portal 2 and its only 81mb from internode in aussie it was going at 35kb/s tried other servers but its even slower, it will take over an hour... I ended up teamviewer to my work pc on a telecom adsl connection took 2 mins to download from the same server and I then uploaded it back to my home pc via a 1mbps upload connection and its faster. Tranfering at 110kb/s from my work pc. This is appalling that we have to come up with stupid ways to save time.

I encourage everybody to call Vodafone and demand some form of compensation.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

But then you won't be able to go back to the 130/10 plan, since VF retired it. (AFAIK)

Don't decide until next month - by that time we'll know if VF have really fixed cable.

Ive already had the chat with VF and refused to downgrade to save money but asked for a discount until this is fixed. Have suffered this long so another month won't hurt...much.

Every night my family complains. I'm so sick of this and vodafones promises that mean nothing . What a crap company. No point trying to call them as they don't answer their phone. Sounds like a good fair go story

is it the end of September when 100% of the work is suppose to be finished?

weather and unexpected events can force the postponement of work, so while i can understand you being pissed getting all pissed and bent out of shape isnt going to fix it.

if you are that annoyed, leave and go back to ADSL, if you dont want to do that, you just have to put up with it while they fix it.

I'm pretty sure it's our right to blow off a little stream here and discuss the ongoing progress. Just like, unfortunately, it's your right to belittle us for doing so.
