KWI/AA may be a passive cross connect and you are connected back to the exchange through it.

I'm really new to this. What are the chances there is fibre attached to this cross connect? OE chances of this being upgraded to something like ADSL2?

Zilch. Cross connect cabinets aren't active, they're passive. Sole purpose is for jumpering MPF's

As for upgrades if it's on the RBI list it'll be upgraded. If it's not it won't.
