Handsomedan: I'm still amazed that the average user out there uses less than 1GB a month...
Personally, I struggle on my new plan with 1.25GB + amonthly add-on of 500MB
I'd rather a plan that costs me $50 a month, with 30 min call time and 1000 txts, with 2.5GB of data.
There's not a lot these days at VF to convince me to stay...I can mix and match at other carriers and get more-or-less what I want...and may do so when I decide to get my new iPhone 6...
It's currently much less than 1GB average, actually. It is going up, but purely because smartphone uptake is growing enormously. It's important to remember that Rome wasn't built in a day - our data caps have increased massively over just the last 18 months alone. We're charging less and less to provide much better value, more data and faster speeds and investing heavily in future-proofing our network. If all providers had the same plans and offerings I can't see the point in having different companies. May as well have one massive government controlled Telco. I genuinely believe that Vodafone differentiates itself in lots of ways that improves quality of life for our customers.
