xlinknz: An earlier starter eh Phil ?

Well a definate improvement for what is showing for September i.e. fixed for Sept

But my Aug billable total despite being adjusted down a few GB is higher than usual but as previously mentioned and requested without being able to see daily totals for Aug I cannot compare to my own logs. Additionally WxC advising what date the issue started would be helpful too

I'll call the WxC helpdesk this morning to see if I can see the daily totals for Aug, if I had known I couldn't see daily totals for previous months I would have taken a screen shot

I'm feeling we are in the same boat, but unfortunately Ive only just started recording our usage with TomatoUSB since the start of this month.

Whilst our usage for August was adjusted down by about 12Gb, its still ( at 20Gb) roughly twice what we would use on a typical month.  Current usage in our Router lines up pretty well for this month against the ViewBill display and is currently tracking for what we would normally do (between 6 and 10 Gb/month) ... but without any way of auditing our XNet usage will have to just keep a closer eye on it going fwd :(.

Send me your Xnet details/username best I have a look at it, even if you're not 100% on your usage.

Thanks

Cameronn: Please PM the details so I can investigate.

The standard data issues started on the 22nd of August.

The torrent data issues started much earlier in the month (maybe 5th or 6th) but were an entirely different issue - off peak data being marked as peak and vice versa.

So why are bills still being sent out? When is the torrent data issues going to be resolved?

RunningMan: Well, as far as I can see, it all looks to be pretty good - thanks to the Xnet guys :-)

Wow! Value add comments....

Well, as far as I can see, it all looks NOT to be pretty good. Wasn't looking for you personal experiences, looking for Xnet to getting their billing system sorted.

Both Standard and Torrent issues were resolved prior to billing,  I'm following up to ensure nothing has been missed.

PM me your details if you think otherwise.

Thanks
Cameron

May I respectfully suggest that if you post in a public forum, you would expect other members with related information (positive or negative) to also offer it, which I have.

Additionally, if you are looking for Xnet to resolve a problem, then contact their helpdesk directly, or take up one of the offers for direct contact from their staff that have posted here.

I've been investigating a number of Torrent accounts today and believe they were not corrected prior to billing - as I was advised.

I'm working with Operations to confirm the above and looking at crediting the affected accounts.

I've also looked at a number of Standard data charging accounts and they've all been corrected prior to billing.

Hmm, I've just looked at my bill and it has the non corrected amount too, despite the amount on viewbill being adjusted.
It would also appear that the usage is still over counting this month, but not by much. Seems to be about 6-6.5% too much.

My comparisons also didn't exactly line up with the WxC figures but I'm not concerned as the amount is negliable in $. I trust WxC to get it right, they should know well the possible consequences of inaccurate billing...

This issue still hasn't been resolved, I've been overcharged for at least 5-7gb over the last week. Well over a month now since these problems were identifited and incorrect bills are still being sent to customers, and incorrect data still being accounted for.

Escalated the details you've sent me and am awaiting an update on the correction of the August Torrent accounts.

Thanks

Data usage appears to be correct,  we can see your username is being used in multiple locations.  I would advise changing the password on your account ASAP.

Yup my Fusion (torrent) plan data usage has increased unexplainably over the last couple of months (double usual). I called Xnet again today to be told again that they are still having issues with the torrent plan billing and they will correct it as soon as possible (good) but they have not at any stage contacted me to advise me that they are having problems (bad)

So - two calls to Xnet, and still my August bill and current billing are incorrect. This morning at 0700 I checked my overnight usage (with all devices turned off overnight) to find that there was peak time usage listed on view bill (peak time starts at 0800) so something is still pretty screwed.

Good to see Xnet / WxC answering questions here on GZ, however a simple email to users would have meant that we wouldn't have aired the dirty linen here on GZ!
