...there are cable phone and BB packages available. We're updating a few links on the site to make them show properly. In the meantime, here's the info. As alway - best advice is to call and talk to one of the team about your needs...

Cheers, Gary

I like the new package builder at the bottom of the page:-

Zanerkin: Gosh, Getting locked in to a 12 month contract is a bit of a joke. Been with Telstra for about 7 years with no plans to change until now. I'd be happy to stay on without it and did't plan to leave, but being locked in with the $200 disconnection fee is seriously making me consider jumping ship =/

+2

I was waiting to see what the new pricing was as the old telstraclear prices aren't exactly competitive. Now I'd happily upgrade to the faster plan but not with another 12mth contract.

Just received my bill. Instead of being charged the coming month at the new 150GB rates of $95.95 they charged me the old $155.95 rate.

I talked to someone but I recommend you call their help desk BEFORE the payment is due.

Did I miss something? Are vodafone dropping the price of existing/old Telstraclear plans? The TelstraClear website doesn't have the reduced pricing, and the vodafone website only has the new plans (Lightspeed 60G and larger/faster).

Read the previous pages. Yes, priced dropped. No they are not automatically adjusted, you have to call. After much confusion they've decided to get this new price you have to get on a term contract. If you are on term contract already you can't change without ETF.

But yes, read the thread. That's why there's a [SINGLE PAGE VIEW] button now.

Kinda on the same topic - on Voda cable with Sky, is My Sky not compatible? In other words, is the only option for a digital Sky recorder the T-Box?

And is Caller Display not available on InHome cable either?

I honestly can't see any new pricing for the LightSpeed 40G or LightSpeed 20G naked cable plans, other than the mention of it by langers1972.

All the phone options are available, you just have to pay extra for some of them.  You can find a list of the available ones here.

You can get MySky if you want to... you don't have to use the T-box... but of course you will have to call sky about that.  I know that Vodafone offer a discounted MySky but I don't know if that offer is open to people in cable areas.  I'm sure a quick call to them would confirm this.

Thanks for that - it's just the only option available if choosing any of the cable/Sky plans was Voicemail (no other service), and either Freeview or the T-Box.

I'll need to contact Sky to see if they would bill My Sky all on it's own, then.

Do you already have your sky being billed through Vodafone?  If this is the case I would contact them first and see if they will continue that arrangement.

They don't formally offer mySky with cable plans as they have their own delivery system with the T-box.

I'm not talking about the naked plans, the package prices have changed by quite a lot.
