I did not pay for same day.
Because mine is a resign it's a bit different.
12 months is on Saturday. Now they say process the next day.
at least I got hold of somone

Is the CSR calling you back? Do you have a case number? If not, call up again. Don't trust they will call you back...

Been through that one too many times.

Make sure you get a case number, and also the name of the CSR.

If only VF NZ new ahead of time how popular the iPhone 3GS was going to be and perhaps allowed pre-ordering so that they didnt have to commence paper pushing the day of the launch. But they probably couldnt be bothered. I doubt they would have been so sloppy if there were some competition.

Didnt other countries allow preordering and then you could just go into a store and pick up? Maybe even pre ordering and then free launch day delivery.

I called the Online Shop at about 4.15pm about my iPhone order I placed this morning at 9:00am. The guy found my order, confirmed it straight away, got an email 3 minutes later confirming purchase and another email at 5.15pm saying it has been despatched, hopefully for delivery tomorrow. Was definitely a good idea to give them a call.

Vodafones online store is now sold out of both 16GB and 32GB 3gs models. Not sure if the apple store still has stock, looks like it does.

I ordered one of the latest MacBook Pro from Apple store the first day it came out. The site said it ships within 3-5 business days, but mine was delivered the next day. Nobody knows it will be the same with this though.

Oh wow. That's suprising.

I would assume though, that they would be a little short atm.. although, i'd say they would have had a bigger stockpile than Vodafone.

And with APple you can only buy out right, whereas with Vodafone you would have been getting quite a few resigns I would say.

Ordered mine at 12.03am when released and mine hasnt even shipped yet. Now Im wondering if I have to wait for new stock to arrive.

It only moved to order accepted after I called twice.

Pretty poor effort really.
