Vodafone never called back as expected, still the worst company I have every had to deal with. I wish any other ISP brought the cable network!

Nope, not going to either, it's just a waste of my time. I now have a new born to look after, so the internet will be the least of my worries. Vodafone has never been able to diagnose or fix any of the issues I have faced in the past, they just seem to sought themselves out, I'm hoping by the time I have time for the internet again, things will be better. maybe next time you could get a ticket number before you start a thread?

because it doesn't seem like you care too much about the issue if you cant call and get one. hell just put the phone on speaker and do something else while on hold. thats harldy wasting your time.

I just called the 0508 888 800 number for Cable / Fibre support and  the call was answered before even any hold music came on so instant, Staff member was located in Auckland CBD

Linux

Edit: @scotty1986 also call backs could take a little longer this time of year

They called back a few days late. I got a fault logged this time. I really can't remember what the outcome was though, unfortunately with a very sick new born and a weeks stay in hospital with next to no sleep, I'm struggling to finish a sentence! I think they were going to monitor the line. My Asus NT-56U seems to be on its way out and have had to go back to the Vodafone supplied router. Asus keeps powering down (no lights) or completely dropping connection and not outputting a wifi signal, all lights off accept power light. Flashed the latest firmware but no change. A quick google indicates overheating as a possible cause. Unfortunately MyRepublic supplied it for my fibre connection way back.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

If you got a fault logged then clearly the outcome is in progress, Expecting a fix on a phone call like this is not going to happen

I meant the outcome of that call, I know they wouldn't be able to fix it over the phone. Oh I just remembered, they were going to send a tech out, I was to expect a call to discuss times.
