Benoire:

How are you dealing with fast forward and rewind?  I presume all it has is skip?

Fast forward and rewind isn't the same as sky, as you can't see the images scrolling forward or back in time. However it isn't too bad once you realise that each advertisement break during a show is about 5 minutes, so skipping an ad break is as easy as fast forwarding 5 minutes.

We like the fact that we don't actually record much, as programme catchups are almost always available. For example the cricket yesterday we didn't record, but when we got home from work, we used the EPG to scroll back to the first innings and start it from the beginning.

The few shows we do record are mostly movies for the kids, however I'm not 100% sure how long they remain recorded for.

I'm used to the fast forward/rewind limitations. As someone who channel surfs alot not having a previous channel button is a bit of a pain.

As a UFC fan it is annoying that there is no Sky Arena. I can watch UFC main event through fanpass but I didn't have access to the prelims.

I have been investigating the Vodafone TV as there are "deals" galore going. But most of the links on the website and even in this forum are broken. Not great when you are trying to understand the system.

But no recording of FTA channels means MySky wins hands down.

Does anyone with sky sport via their Vodafone tv know if there is the alt audio option with the yellow button.
