What is the multiroom pricing for Gen 1? I assume it is $25 like Gen 2 but maybe has the box included for free?

What's the price for Freeview only?

Is it possible to have Sky in one room and Freeview in the other? (Not paying $25)

Is Gen 1 and Gen 2 working together in the pipeline?

Otherwise may be best to just buy a Gen 2 and keep it independent if we don't mind about Sky (Not worth paying $25 for) And have the added bonus of Wifi and bluetooth remote..

Hi @Yabanize

It's not possible on account to have one STB on Freeview and one on Sky.

You could however do this on Standalone by registering each box on a seperate account in the Portal.

Multiroom for Sky is $25 PM..  It's free on Standalone for Freeview.

Cheers,

Grant

Over 95% of Gen 1 users will find their firmware has just been upgraded and includes a number of improvements. This also brings Gen1 firmware in line with Gen2.

To check if you have the update go to settings->more settings->information to see your software (firmware) version.

Latest firmware is 5.1.5714.02jfv(nz).

Choose "Update" from the more settings menu if you haven't upgraded yet.

With this release the following issues are resolved:

1) visual fast-forward doesn’t go beyond the point where you restart or ff/rewind live content

2) visual fast-forward jumps to live content when reaching the restart point of live content

3) concurrency error when navigating between “menu” and “back” keys on the remote

4) black screen despite white light on VTV box

Please let us know if you still experience these issues.

I'm getting an error on one of my 2 devices, after an attempted update:

Error 0f04: update failed.

Any ideas, what it may be. I've tried full power off restart, the progress bar doesn't get past 5% when update manually triggered.
Other device in house already updated without incident.

Thanks,
P-J

Think I solved my issue, it’s updated successfully now. Think it was related to a very short DHCP lease I’d setup some time ago. I think the device thinks the internet has been disconnected when the lease runs out, causing the update download to time out.

I’ve got 2 gen 1 boxes on my account (multiroom).

My main box has updated its apps (so the new Neon app and the Speedtest app) but my second box has not updated the apps.

I checked if there is an update but it says it is up to date.

I have unplugged it and left it for 20-30 mins but that did not fix it.

Also after a short amount of time, the pictures of the top 4 apps on the right disappear (you can see the app icons when you scroll down to all the apps).

Is there a way to fix my problem?

Do I need to reset the box (is it safe to do this when you are a Vodafone account holders) or does an update need to be pushed to the box?

Please do not perform a hard reset of the box.   Instead, if you leave the box on overnight it should update.  If it doesn't, please send me the serial number of the box and I'll get the team to investigate.

Try toggling the sky filter option off/on.. or do a power-cycle.

Toggling the Show/hide subscribed channels fixed it. Must be a glitch , TV3 isn't a pay channel.
