Anyway, my earlier prediction states that Vodafone will either do nothing when Free Weekend Txt ends OR they will release an entirely new promotion - if they do release a new promotion, i also predict that they will release the details from either Sunday 25th June or Monday 26 June, which is after the last time free weekend text promo will be held!!

I just think for the teenage mobile user, Push 2 Talk could quite easily replace texting!!

I would also like to see a greater uptake of P2T service, if you check the Qualcomm website, the next 'generation' of CDMA P2T looks good.

Its not based on nothing, it's based on past observation of how Vodafone do things.

You gave two options, do nothing or do something, a bit across the broad don’t ya think, and if you bother to read my previous posts, you will see that yes there is a new promo/feature coming, but I suspect (not saying we will!) we might see a little bit more of free txt weekends until the other is ready. There is no "I will be right, you will be wrong - nuf said!"

The main thing i'm saying is that vodafone will not continue free weekend text.

Saying they wont continue free weekend text is not broad considering they either will continue it or they either wont continue it.

After i say that they wont continue free text weekends, i then go on further to say they will either do nothing or launch a new promotion.

As you can see with my explaination, im not being broad at all by saying they wont continue free text weekends,

Oh dear it's only SMS people, I meet up with people & talk things in person or at the very worst, I use the Telephone, you know the old type where you actually call someone & hold a conversation!....

Because I know of the info that gets passed on through (dealers spill it from other staff usually and only certain things are said that might actually affect what I'm doing as my sideline job) Ther'es lots I'd like to be told but it's not really nessesary

For example the free weekend TXT affected the SMS gateway controllers, Basically spam from numbers in the early days was causing crashes and logging/charging problems due to the SMS not being charged for.
Interesting how some little TXT promo can affect something integrated!
