Does anyone know what Vodafone is planing after 30th June when free Vodafone to Vodafone texting on weekends runs out?
Do they plan to extend it, again? I would like to mobilize all Vodafone customers in the country by texting important Vodafone managers that we want an extension until whatsoever. Who knows important Vodafone numbers to text this demand to? Any other ideas?

You are not going about this the correct way they use there mobiles for private use as well so why don't you take your childish idea and wait and see.

oh come on, get real. look at all the other promos - this like this generally dont end. they put finite dates on the offers so that if the market changes significantly, they have an out. they learnt this lesson after the uncapped $10 text fiasco. why would they can it, and alienate their customers? they will most likely keep extending their offer, or perhaps even enhance/alter their offer for the better.

if you start annoying vodafone employees on their mobile numbers, you might end up with your service suspended or disconnected, and a possible criminal charge. its illegal to delibratley cause nusiance to some using a telephone in this country.

if they can it, then so many prepay customers will walk to telecom, which would hurt the all important market share figure, if only by a percent over a quarter, but still enough to hurt.

I rang Vodafone yesterday and unfortunately there is no number you can TEXT an official complain to.
You can email, mail or ring Vodafone but not by text.
Because this affects the TEXTING side of the business I don't see why you should lodge a request by other than texting.
If you read properly I am not planing to text Vodafone staff members. Can you give me a number I can text my request to?
If you think this idea is stupid fine, go ahead and pay for texting on the weekend. I am pretty sure others don't.

I bought a Skype phone from DSE the other day, but if I need support, I dont expect to be able to contact DSE by calling a skype number. Thats unreasonable.

Go to www.vodafone.co.nz and click contact, and you get this page where they offer free calling, email and postal contact options. Thats how they are requesting to be contacted, and there are modern reasonable free methods there.

They havent even pulled the promo yet, and you are attempting to make out like they need a torrent of uprising...

I think that's exactly it:"Wait and see" If everybody waits and sees nothing significant happens. That applies to everything in the world. Maybe Vodafone comes up with a new offer. Sorry, english is not my first language. It's not a complaint, it's a request.

FYI:

To make the nice flashy quote box, just press the 'quote' button on the post you wish to quote.
Alternatively, you can type [ quote ] at the start of a quote and [ /quote ] at the end of a quote, although you need to remove the blank spaces inside the quotes for this to work.

Would become

The quick brown dog eats the lazy rabbit

And your reply would go here.

I have a crazy idea, how about for once instead of complaining all the time, why not write a thank you letter for promo you like, it might just work, if they think there customers are really happy with the service, will they not continue? I'm sure they get allot of complaints but I wonder how many thank you letters they get?

What a great suggestion! This is how we do things at home, try and emphasise and encourage good behaviour - far more effective than the opposite :-)
