That's correct you were promised Saturday delivery, but the difference is that Vodafone can't guarantee Saturday delivery as obviously delivery times are outside their control so you would have been best to hang on to your old phone to at least guarantee you would have GPS.

Still worth following it up with Vodafone on Monday and ask them what happened.

Thanks, I do plan on following up on Monday... I hope that the phone is allocated and that they haven't sold out.

But yeah I only made plans for the GPS once I'd been promised the phone (I have heard you with regards to their control over delivery etc). But fact of the matter is, the problem was with their store not processing my order.

Wow this forum is getting touchy haha.

I got my 3gs this morning at 8.50am. Got my XT sim this arvo, registering the phone on itunes now. Going well so far!

Awh, im jealous. I want to move over to XT, but its not proving to be a simple process :( (also doesnt help that everyone i know is already on Vodafone, so TXTing is out the window)

Yup. And don't expect anything more untill, at least tomorrow.

However, for those promised delivery same day, or the day after, I would think there would be some kind of given since you didnt actually get them.

if I was in the South Island though, I wouldnt have expected the package same day. maybe the day after, even on courier.

I just looked at my first iPhone $40 plan invoice on "My Vodafone" and it said $100 credit and $5.45 credited to my account :D
Which means I got the $100 credit for being one of the 300 pre-registered customers and the leftover credit from my old pre-pay account.
Awesome - I was hoping I was one of the first 300 otherwise I would have been disappointed!
Anyone else got the $100 credit?

Does anyone know how you can check how many txts sent and mb's used online by any chance?

all of Telecom's txt plans are for any network. you aren't restricted to Telecom only.

all of Telecom's txt plans are for any network. you aren't restricted to Telecom only.

No, but they are.

Being Vodafone (2000 txt's on net only)

Which iswhat they have.. we're all very big txt'rs and no provider really has enough txt packages for on and off net.

Telecom is the only one that has actually improved in this area.

hrm I ordered mine on Friday morning and it still hasn't been dispatched. My wife ordered her's 10 minutes before me and it arrived on Saturday. :/

thats a big 10 minutes though.. with the amount of people buying online, its not surprising some people would have been missed.

I ordered mine midnight on launch day.

Im a resign which wasnt due untill 11th July for my 12 months to go over. ( 1 day later)

My online order states we are looking at your order....

I rang up this morning -Guess what. They are out of stock and not sure when new stock arrives. !!!!

So the ordering process im not happy with. Obviously the resign factor put me back in the que. But others I heard got theres so something isnt right.??

Yeah, when I called this morning they tried to tell me that the Saturday delivery was hardware only orders.

She said that I might receive it this afternoon and she confirmed that I got in with the $100 credit but I haven't received any emails saying my order has been processed yet.

EDIT - Just as I posted this I got a txt saying my plan transfer is about to take place... still no email though.
