2 of these tests are international traffic so of course will be down when compared to national

Those are my usual speeds/pings on non peak times. Normally I would see some/a bit of slow down by now. Let's hope this holds up.

Meanwhile in Island Bay ...

(measured hardwired to modem at 6:30 pm)

The night is yet young ...

UPDATE:  Latency has been trending upwards from 42ms since this morning, until it became ridiculously high (see above) by 6:30pm.

We had a brief outage at 7pm, and latency has now returned to normal (ping = 9ms).

Thanks to whoever fixed it smile

100/10 cable. Kapiti/node W93. I think the signs of upgrades are showing.

Thread's pretty quiet. Are most people fixed but scared to call it in case it doesn't last? I'll stick my neck out and say I am on day three of having an awesome, fast, low latency connection.

My earlier question about jumping to Cable from VDSL still stands :)

Wait at least another 2 weeks. The jury is still out.

Twice this year I have convinced myself that cable was "fixed" - both times, I was wrong.

It was pretty good Friday/Saturday but then it went downhill. Good again today. It's still work in progress I guess - as above, have to wait for a good solid couple of weeks of problem-free performance to say it's "solved".
