My Motorola Defy won't allow me to make calls on my LinkSys WRT54GL wireless...

The LinkSys is hardwired off a MikroTec wireless router in another building - the Defy works fine off that network.

Any strange set-up traps for the LinkSys when using SIP?

Do you have double NAT going on?

Most likely double NAT

If the Linksys isn't doing anything other than being an wireless AP and network switch set it up in "wan bypass mode"

Basically disable DHCP in the Linksys and connect the network cable from the Mikrotek to a LAN port instead of the WAN point.
