Having issues getting my emails in Outlook.

Looks like www.clear.net.nz isn't loading either.

Task '****@clear.net.nz - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings.  The server responded: -ERR [SYS/TEMP] Service Temporarily Unavailable'

Yet the username and password are correct.

Hi all - we're experiencing an outage affecting most TelstraClear services. No ETA @ this stage, apologies for any inconvenience

Updated the subject because "emails" doesn't mean anything, really...

It seems to be working but my Outlook hangs on "sending" for nigh on a minute when refreshing.

eta: It's going through the send/receive motions, however my three test emails I've sent haven't arrived.

Hi Guys,
it’s all hands to the pump as we continue to work on our power outage and bring full services back into play. Our advice is to remain online: your Paradise and Clear.net emails will load automatically once power is back up. Some digital TV services are also affected, as is our TelstraClear website. We’ll keep you posted with more information as it comes to hand. Our apologies to all of you – we understand how frustrating this is.
Tim.

From facebook

"Phew! Thanks for hanging in there everyone ? full service has been restored to your Paradise and Clear.net emails and these should now begin filtering through, albeit slowly. No emails will have been lost during the outage. However, some of our Digital TV services are still affected, alongside self-service options on our website. We?ll keep you posted as to when these become available to us again. Many thanks, everyone, for your understanding and patience"

... our power outage ...
I suspect you will be looking at power resilience and redundancy now with urgency.

With online services being critical these days ... you need to be online all the time.

I would have thought they would have too.   They had excellent resiliency systems in place and direction when I was a manager at Clear.

I think they need to question there spending priorities.  Downtime of any sort is not really acceptable at any time in this always online world we have now.
