Hello, I am currently on the new Fusion plan. The service itself is top-notch, but our household's needs have grown - namely the need for more data. For this reason, I am contemplating a switch to another provider, but I would like to still keep VFX. Is this possible? I understand that Fusion is a bundled product - would we lose our digital phone line along with Fusion if we opt to change providers?
Thank you.

Yes, it is possible to keep just the VFX line with Xnet and get broadband with another provider.

You simply pay $11.50/month plus tolls with Xnet.

Have been on this setup for a year now. No problems with VFX. Previously with Xnet broadband and would lose ability to make calls on VFX because Xnet broadband was not working on a number of times.

ive been using vfx for years with several differnent isp's and have never had an issue. I would say though that most isp's data charges are fairly similar and xnets' charges of $0.99/gb aren't outrageous so it would have to be an mammoth deal to make me move and bring yet another service provider (and its inherent complications) into the mix.

Thanks for the replies. I enquired Xnet about the matter, and I was told that switching from Fusion does not automatically kill the digital phone line, unless this is specifically requested. My ISP was changed over yesterday, and everything seems to be working fine so far.

We just did exactly the same thing for the same reasons and it works just fine and dandy.
