Hey, I'm asking this questiob on behalf of a friend.

He's got a Nokia 3220 and is on the bestmate and txt2000 plans. His phone has this 'flash messages' feature, it sends you a message on your phone that shows up straight away, but isnt saved onto the phone.
He was wondering does the flash message thing cost the same as a txt? is it counted as a txt message with the supa prepaid plans? Ie, uses the txt in the txt2000 plan, or dosent cost when txting his bestmate.

It's a SMS and charged accordingly.

I didnt know there were handsets that could originate them.

Good for pranks - sending things line "Battery Low" - "Sim card error" - "3 missed calls" - "stolen phone" etc :)

I was trying to get my pc to send some over bluetooth for the last day of free text weekends on a sim card that I didnt care about anymore, but lacked motivation and there was some occasion that required drinking instead which naturally takes priority.
