Hi. It's Vodafone here. How's it going Mauricio? We just wanted to say 'happy anniversary' and thanks for being such a great customer! We're proud to have been by your side (on your bag/coat/pocket/belt-mounted phoneholder) for 6 years."

Wow you are as valuable as pack of pens to Vodafone. That must make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Not considering my involvement with Geekzone, I wonder if this is the standard "gift" for a six years account, with bills up to $1000 while roaming (yes, it happened before, bloody $30/MB data), and averaging about $100/month.

Priceless...

How'd you know? My Telecom account is only a few months old. I don't use Telecom at home, but TelstraClear. Actually come to think of this I have TelstraClear for the last 7 years, and nothing...

Hmmm I think I have been a Vodafone customer for a bit more than 6 years and I haven't got this... :-(

Come to think of it, I don't get any more special deal or offers from Vodafone anymore... maybe because my spending on them has reduced significantly :-(

Just thinking the same thing there Chiefie.

Ive been an on account customer for well over 6 yrs and havnt received anything like this either!!!

I hope its not Favourtism due to Mauricios Status and involvement with GZ

Perhaps because hes provided them with lots of advertising and customers?? va this medium??

Im not asking for any freebies but this doesnt seem quite kosha??
But I suspect its because of his "Business" type relationship with VF

Folks, I don't think it's anything to do with Geekzone. As posted by cranz, and based on the "Business Centre Service" reference in the box I suspect this is something they send to business accounts only.

If this is the case, then a box of Bic pens is an interesting proposition, since most businesses limit the value of gifts an employee can receive (although I know things work differently for a lot of CxO level people).

Speaking of gifts.... VFNZ chopped most of my plans addons 1 month earlier than requested, including the 1gb Promo data plan.

I got most of them back however my gift to VFNZ is $10 more because of the pricing difference (they can't put me back on the 1gb data plan. [/offtopic]
